New Version Of The Rom Management Utility ClrMamePro

The mighty rom management utility that is ClrMamePro is updated again now, I tend to use RomCenter most of the time but this one comes in handy at times as well, if you are new to it it will scan your roms to check you aren’t missing parts or have anything named wrongly, it can then rename and rebuild (assuming you have the parts in another folder it’s been pointed at) your roms giving you a fully working romset for your emulator, worth trying out to keep things correct I’m sure you’ll agree. Of course after reading that you’re asking ‘what’s new?’ unless you skipped ahead that is, so let’s answer that question:

misc:
• fastscan information is always saved now, even if you cancel a scan. So you can continue a stopped scan at a later point in time;
• renamed scan to new scan and fastscan to scan…you have to get used to it;
• fastscan button is only enabled if the operation is actually possible;
• merger can create rar/7zip;
• merger can create destination folder if it doesn’t exist;
• changed caption of merger placement options;
• fix missing operations also optionally prompt for confirmation now;
• don’t show ‘recompress’ popupmenu in scanner when rebuilder is set to 7z/rar;
• added some error promps for failed http/ftp connections;

fixed:
• crash on loading corrupt online xmls;
• dats without chd regions falsely list one empty region;
• rare issue with chd subfolders for fake clone sets;
• merger removes chds during cleanup;
• merger doesn’t move parent-only sets for placement mode ‘move’.
