New Version Of The Amiga Emulation Package Amikit

More high end Amiga desktop emulation now this time for Windows and Linux with an update for Amikit which I highly recommend for you if you either want to relive your old Amiga days or if you always wondered what the high end ones were like to use, of course you’ll want to know what’s changed first so stick around for the news:

FIXED:
• Bootup crashes on certain HW due to ttengine.library not handling the multiple accesses correctly (since AmiStart already accesses it, the truetype version of LimpidClock had to be replaced by regular one).
• Mess in Devs/Printers and Storage/Printers if Amiga Forever was used to install AmiKit

As it’s a live update just start Amikit and it will search for and detect the new version, then just choose to update, if you are a quite a few versions back then grab the 1.5.0 release from the homepage or below and use the live update when you fire it up.
